The Bank, Tewkesbury

As a result of our extensive Passivhaus air testing experience, we were selected to test this rather impressive new build unit just outside of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. The external cladding was a striking Yakasugi  finish – a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation.

The setting was amazing with the Cotswolds to one side and the Malverns to the other, so not a bad spot to work from!

We helped the owners, Sam and Mitch, to identify some areas that were holding them back on acheiving their targets, and we were able to demostrate this with the use of a Concept Air Trace MK2 hand held smoke machine. We have since returned to discuss solutions with external contractors and the build is now progressing with everyone happy that they will achieve the desired results on the pre-completion test scheduled for later this year.
